  13.     I have all of the info for connecting to the BBS 708-982-5092, ansi, 
  14. 8-n-1) but I am still ahving problems.  I can dial in and get a CONNECT 
  15. message but the USR BBS responds with a short line of garbage (spades, hearts, 
  16. and other garbage characters).  I tried hitting return but the cursor stays at 
  17. the end of the garbage line.  I have had this same result with at least 5 
  18. connections.
